The Pro-Ject RPM 5 Carbon utilizes a revolutionary concept with many innovations derived from its big brother, the RPM 9 Carbon. A low-resonance chassis holds a newly designed ball bearing plate, with a ceramic ball for further noise reduction. The acoustically inert platter is made of acrylic.
An external 15V AC motor is smoothly driven with the help of an ultra-precision AC generator with DC power supply. This DC power supply provides improved speed stability.
The stylish 9” Evo tonearm, made of carbon fiber, is suitable for any high-quality MM or MC cartridge. A TPE-damped counterweight eliminates unwanted resonances.
The Pro-Ject RPM 5 has an external AC motor and acrylic platter.
Delivered as standard without a cartridge.
An Ortofon Bronze cartridge is included for €1799,-.
