This multiple award-winning balanced stereo cable Van Den Hul The D-102 MKIII is one of the best audio cables available on the market. The D-102 III HYBRID is a highly flexible, triple shielded cable that provides effective protection against RF and magnetic interference.

Two crystal clear, oxygen-free copper conductors infused with pure silver ensure excellent sound transmission. Each conductor is insulated with Van Den Hul’s unique Linear Structured Carbon® (LSC) technology. This enhances the quality of signal transmission by creating electric bridges on a micro-scale and by converting the external magnetic field near the conductors into an electrical signal.

Specially treated artificial filling fibers provide perfect protection against signal loss caused by increased humidity over longer periods. The sound can be best described as pure, clean, and very spacious with extremely high resolution. The 2 central conductors are made of 40 dense and very pure silver-plated strands made of a very high-quality matched crystal (MC) OFC.
An additional LAR (Linear Structured Carbon®) saturated layer is applied over each central conductor.
This extra layer of LSC enhances the quality of signal transmission by performing electrical bridging on a micro-scale and by converting the external magnetic field near the conductors back into an electrical signal.
4 strands of 3T are applied in the design.
3T: True Transmission Technology provides much higher resolution and detail compared to other metal technologies used to date.
The resistance of each central conductor is 5.5 Ohm / 100 meters.
The capacitance between the 2 internal conductors is a very low 37 pF / meter; in balanced operation, even in circuits with a fairly high impedance, total losses and/or phase shift remain very low.
