Affordable and equipped with excellent value for money, the van den Hul The BAY C5 RCA HYBRID has been specifically designed for general-purpose and car hi-fi interlink applications. However, the BAY C5 HYBRID is also perfect for internal (pre-)amplifier and mixer cabling applications as well as unbalanced patchbay connections.
The design combination of superior transmission quality, low conductor-conductor capacitance, very high shielding factor, as well as high mechanical flexibility and long life, although not easy to handle, has been successfully achieved.
The high-quality conductor material used in this cable is an OFC with large crystal and dense silver coating. The BAY C5 HYBRID has also been fully equipped with LSC-saturated layers (Linear Structured Carbon®), which are standard in our more expensive cable products. These layers significantly improve transparency and imaging. By electrically bridging metal oxide defects, stable conductivity is maintained at the lowest signal levels.

Features Van Den Hul The Bay C5 RCA HYBRID
The coaxial construction consists of a center conductor of 40 x 0.12 mm. strands with an effective cross-sectional area of 0.452 mm² (AWG 20.6) and a resistance of 3.8 ohms/100 m.
The center conductor is coated with a layer of LSC and insulated with foamed polyethylene.
The cable capacitance is 110 pF/m.
The double shield consists of 16 x 6 x 0.12 mm. strands of braid with a saturated layer of linear structured carbon® to further shield the cable against HF signals and dramatically improve signal quality.
The total resistance of the shield is 1.6 ohms/100 meters.
The outer 5.2 mm. diameter jacket consists of red-colored HULLIFLEX® 4, a material with superior properties compared to e.g. PVC; HULLIFLEX® gives the BAY C5 HYBRID a very long life without aging effects.
Length 0.8m
