The Trafomatic Head Two is a Class-A Push Pull circuit design. This is the second headphone amplifier in the Trafomatic Audio production after the highly successful model Experience Head One. 3 dB feedback and 100% tube amplification deliver 2 W at 50 Ohm. The tubes are hand-picked based on their long-established reputation for sonic virtue.
The ‘overbuilt’ power supply features robust multistage high-voltage filtering for superior low-frequency performance.
A proprietary output stage with II C core output transformers is suitable for a wide range of headphone impedances from 25-600 Ohm.
