TRAFOMATIC EOS power amplifier

The EOS power amplifier is the second in the Trafomatic Audio productions in terms of power. It is constructed as a dual mono push-pull using well-known KT120 output tubes. The output power is 100 W per channel, which is sufficient for most speakers, even those with below average sensitivity.

This is a power amplifier that requires a preamplifier and offers endless possibilities for system configuration. Based on previous work on negative feedback, the -8dB response is tuned to deliver a sound equivalent to a good Single Ended application.

Cathode feedback was used as the most musical. Bass is well controlled, dynamic response is excellent, and this amplifier belongs to the absolute top in its class. A well-designed power supply made as a separate unit uses an 800VA toroidal transformer and C-L-C filter separated for each channel.

Output transformers are based on a Double-C core configuration, and fast Solen capacitors are used throughout. Adding a thoughtful concept to the mix results in a recognizable high-quality sound from our amplifiers.
