Musical Fidelity M6si
At Musical Fidelity, we consider the M6si as a product of destination. The M6si offers such outstanding performance, features, and power that unless you’re looking for the most exotic top-class sound quality, you’ll never need another amplifier. We believe it’s that good.
Internally, the M6si is configured as 2 independent monoblock power amplifiers with a separate preamplifier. It’s essentially a preamplifier with 2 monoblock power amplifiers that happen to share the same casing.
The M6si has 220 watts per channel. It has very low distortion, an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, and a very flat frequency response. The inputs include a turntable (MM/MC), 4 line-level inputs, 1 balanced XLR input, and 1 USB ‘B’ input up to 24-bit 96kHz asynchronous.
The M6si’s combination of high power, high current, and extraordinary stability means it can effortlessly drive any speaker.
In practical use, it’s difficult to hear a practical difference between the M6si and much more expensive amplifiers. In suitable blind listening tests, the M6si performs incredibly well. If we sound rather enthusiastic, it’s because we are.
