Ortofon Quintet Blue

The Ortofon Quintet Blue is a very homogeneous cartridge, of which the sound image has a smoother reproduction compared to the Quintet Red and a moderate dynamic strength compared to the Quintet Bronze.
It features a Nude Elliptical diamond stylus mounted on an aluminum cantilever.

The MC Quintet Series is representative of Ortofon’s relentless effort to develop cartridges that offer the most precise and accurate playback, without coloration.

A special ABS thermoplastic material is used for the construction of the housing. This lightweight, impact-resistant material is highly suitable for injection molding and provides a very durable, scratch-resistant surface.

Neodymium magnets are used to achieve optimal output.

The low internal impedance makes the cartridge less sensitive to load and ensures compatibility with a wide range of preamplifiers and transformers.

Easy to use

Top mounting of the Ortofon Quintet Blue cartridges is easy and secure using the included screws. The aluminum housing has threaded mounting holes, allowing the cartridge to be mounted using the supplied 5mm or 7mm long bolts, depending on the thickness of the headshell.

Because the Quintet series has ‘right angles, straight lines, needle visibility’, it is easy to mount and align. The Quintet Series delivers excellent results with the most common tonearms.
