ifi Audio Powerstation

The iFi Audio PowerStation is a power distributor designed specifically for hi-fi setups for six hi-fi components and features an actively built-in power filter. While most power filters use passive filtering, iFi has developed its own active form of noise suppression. In addition to its filtering function, the Power Station also protects against harmful spikes and over-voltage through the power grid.

In this new PowerStation, iFi implements its completely redesigned Active Noise Cancellation II. iFi uses the technique of ‘reversing’ power pollution to actively eliminate it.

This technology is similar to how noise-cancelling headphones work. With this, iFi Audio achieves noise suppression of -40dB. Furthermore, the mains power is passively filtered at each connection to prevent the spread of high-frequency power pollution from one of the connected components through the power plugs.

Through the use of filtering, the mains power is stripped of RFI/EMI power pollution so that premium audio components can directly benefit from it in music playback. This results in an increase in dynamics, openness, precision, and detail in the output. Above all, you will experience more tranquility in the playback.

Lastly, the Power Station features a smart indicator that shows if the power plug is connected with the correct polarity. This prevents potential ground loops and hum that can occur with incorrect polarity configuration.
