Focal Clear MG

With the Focal Clear MG, Focal uses a Magnesium membrane. The reason is simple. Magnesium is slightly lighter than the previously used Aluminium/Magnesium alloy in the preceding Clear model. The result is an even faster response, resulting in optimal dynamics. A characteristic of this is how soft passages maintain the entire frequency range. Spatiality remains fully intact. Natural reverbs decrease in volume, not in frequency, unless intentionally recorded that way (logical). This refinement is audible in all kinds of music. Apart from acoustic music genres, electronic music is also a true experience.

Focal Clear MG – Sound profile

The name Clear has always stood for clarity and neutrality. It’s no coincidence that a professional version has been released as well. This Pro version is only different in accessories (cables and extra ear pads) and color scheme. Particularly, the transition of the low tones is very true to nature. When measured, it runs smoothly without peaks or valleys. For true bass lovers, it may seem lean, but it is actually technically correct. Just to be clear.

Focal Clear MG – Materials

The Focal Clear MG has the elegant finish that we are accustomed to from Focal. A leather headband with airy microfiber head cushion (underside). Wonderfully soft ear pads with memory foam. A robust aluminum chassis. Additionally, a very solid carrying case is included in the package.
